Kingklip is a rare fish with firm white flesh. A high regarded, delicacy in South Africa.
The fish can only be found along the Southern African coast and New Zealand, Australia, Argentina, and Chile coastlines.
Known as ling in New Zealand and congrio in South America.

A traditional favourite amongst our local South Africans.
Also known as barracouta in Western Australia, and it is called the sierra in Chile and Argentina.
Snoek fish can be found year-round , but it feeds intensively during February and March, and the season peaks in April.
After that, their numbers decline till October through November when the fish retreats to deep offshore waters. Their numbers increase again once they return to the surface in December.

The yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares), also known as the Albacore tuna and ahi, from the Hawaiian ʻahi, a name also used there for the closely related bigeye tuna.
Yellowfin tuna get their name from the bright yellow color of their dorsal, anal, and tail fins.
The bigeye tuna (Thunnus obesus) is a species of true tuna of the genus Thunnus, belonging to the wider mackerel family Scombridae.

The yellowtail is a medium-sized fish that occurs throughout the Pacific and Atlantic oceans in tropical to temperate waters. During the annual winter sardine run, they migrate towards the east coast of southern Africa to feast on the sardines.
Also commonly referred to as the yellowtail amberjack, it is one of nine members of the genus Seriola collectively referred to as amberjacks.
Yellowtail is an important commercial line-fish species in the Western Cape. They are known for their high-quality meat that is firm and flavorful.
