Environmental Impact

environmental impact

We are committed to leaving enough fish in the oceans and minimising impacts on habitats and ecosystems.

Responsibility

We have a responsibility to ensure environmental impact is managed to lower activity footprint on the habitat as well as the specific species targeted.

Sustainability

Principles of sustainable fishery management include ecosystem-based approaches, maintaining healthy fish stocks, reducing bycatch and discards, and protecting habitat and marine ecosystems.

Reduce Waste

Avoid Overfishing: Only catch what you need and will consume.
Handle Fish Properly: Bleed fish immediately after catching them to enhance the quality of the meat and reduce waste.
Utilize Bycatch: If you catch non-targeted species and are allowed to keep them, use them wisely.
